Ll Paul Boyd, varsity basketball coach, introduces the team to their proud supporters. as cheerleaders direct various yells. Due to our restricted time schedule the number of pep assemblies this past year was quite limited. Among those we did have, the pictured rally stands out as being particularly lively. It was in honor of our basketball team that was then riding the crest of three straight victories. Club initiations are also a rarity at Oak Park. The Varsity Club conducts the most color- ful initiation of any of our various organizations. The ini- tiates are required to wear dis- tinctive ornamentation while acting as shoeshine boys for their big brothers in the club. 103
