orthmen Conquer The Blahs The morning blahs were experienced by most every student at Oak Park in the '78-'79 school year. This feeling wasn't ermanent as Oakie involvement soon won out, but sometimes, P despite many techniques, breaking the blahs was tough. The uniqueness of modular scheduling helped in ridding the blahs. Whether talking in the lounge or sharing study time in one of the many resource cen- ters, students always found options available to break the monotony of some classrooms. Scheduling wasn't solely responsi- ble for zapping the morning blahs. Assemblies in which the students could share part of their enthusiasm in Pep Club assemblies or apprecia- tion of other's talents in the music, awards and the many free mod assemblies. No matter how many diver- sions existed, there was still no substitute for the interest that the curriculum itself had to establish. This responsibility fell on the faculty.
