Pfeff, West Administer Policies M r. Art Pfaff was Associate Principal for only part of the school year. He was appointed principal of New Mark junior High School in january. His responsibilities as Associate Principal were mainly, supervising teachers, making state reports, heading the Student Lounge committee, compiling failure lists, the honor roll, Class Analysis G. P. A., and the obligation list. Since Oak Park's opening, Mr. Pfaff has contributed a great deal to its educational system. Assistant Principal, Mr. Robert West's primary duty was discipline. He handled after- school detention, alternative detention, and formed the Mod Missers Unipac. Mr. West had to take over most of Mr. Pfaff's responsibilities after his appointment to New Mark, which were mainly enrollment and graduation ac- tivities. 4

Coordinators Crganize Functions M r. Dick Powers was the activities coor- dinator. He was responsible for all ac- tivities and handled the schedules. He was in charge of all assemblies and Open House. Mr. Floyd Klang was building coordinator. He was mainly in charge of all attendance responsibilities. Buildings and grounds securi- ty was also under his heading. Secretaries for the principal's office were Mrs. Marjorie Atkins, Mrs. Ioan Denney, and Mrs. Dawn Martin. Among their respon- sibilities were activity accounts. textbooks, class size report, grade cards, schedules, supplies, keys, non-certificated payroll, and repairs and improvements. The school nurse, Mrs. Sharon Nicka dealt with many different problemsthroughout the school year. Besides her nursing duties she was Health Career Club sponsor.
