Anticipation of the dance and well-wishing for the football team seem to be the only things on the students’ minds. 1. Sophomores show their spirit at the Pep Rally. 2. Mike plays it cool in the relay race for the Theater team. 3. The Oak Lawn faculty tugs unsuccess- fully against the football team. 4. Saige shows her winning swivel. 5. The world's oldest cheerleader: Mr. (Mrs.?) Graham. 6. Rich spikes one past Deena. 7. The Unknown Spartan slays the foe. 8. Monica is surprised at being named the Homecoming Queen. 9. st 1. The Office Education float sets the theme, “SPARTANS UNDER THE STARS.” 2. The 1st Place float in the truck trailer division goes to the Art Club. This float also won ‘Best Use of Theme.” 3. The Spanish Club entry won 1st Place in the auto walking division. Ole! 4. Dave Spivak and Tammy Perillo ride proud in ilalom e}-1¢-(e [om 5. Rob Patterson does some amazing things on his bitty bike. 6. The Football Team float wins 2nd Place in the truck trailer division and also was voted the ‘‘Best Overall. ’ The Freshman Class with their 2nd Place float in the auto walking division. 8. The Grand Marshall of the parade is C. J. Kupek, former Oak Lawn student and pro- fessional basketball player. C. J. was a star on the 1971 Oak Lawn team that took 2nd in the State Championship. 9. The Unknown Spartan leads the Pep Club down 95th Street. 10. Hey you guys, don't fall out of that truck. 11.
