| JENNIE ORR Dean of Girls, Advanced Biology The work of the Dean of Girls is an intrical part of the total guidance program. Her spe- cific duties include general supervision of the | behavior and attendance of the girls, main- tenance of personnel records, counseling with parents, teachers, and students, and lending a helping hand to the girls with what- ever personal problems they may have. { PAUL E. BURGESS Dean of Boys, Algebra I As Dean of Boys, Mr. Burgess, daily fulfills these duties; Assistance in registration, main- tenance of personnel records, counseling, guidance and attendance records, discipline and testing. His understanding of the student body is not easily surpassed. SALLY G. EMMEL Guidance Director, English II The work of the Director of Guidance is an important part of the entire educational program, especially in the counseling of students on vocational and educational prob- lems. Her duties include working with teach- ers, the administrative staff, and parents, for the purpose of uniting their efforts so that all students are given the utmost attention. This is done to improve the scholastic stan- dards ofthe students, to broaden their social and civic activities, andto prepare them for their educational and vocational futures.
