An Evening of Tragedy And Melodrama This year, departing from the customary three one act plays, the Oak Hills Drama Club present- ed cuttings from Shakespeares I'Iamlet in two acts and the one act play Dirty Work at the Crossroads. Hamlet starred Terry Cranert in three roles e as Hamlet, the King, and the Voice Of the Ghost. Ophctiu was portrayed by Robin Croker, Queen Gertrude by Judy Kreft, and Truth by Jamie Hackwortht The cast of nDirt-v Work at the Crossroads included Bill Keeton, Val Lampe, Richard Burton, Barb Brigham, Jack Holt, and other Oak Hills players. Sweetheart Dance Honors Juniors Candidates are tBOYS l to H M. Seiple, J. Sander, R. Timmons, M. Basler, D. Betz, J. Van Winkle, S. LancaSe 20 7 Student Life Love is Blue, was the theme of this yeafs Sweetheart Dance. The dance, given by the soph- omores in honor of the Junior Class was held Feba ruary twenty-first. A combination of blue and purple was used to decorate the cafeteria where the dance was held. Blue hearts around the door and blue lighting softened the cafeteria and heart-shaped table decorations completed the theme. Jill Lampe and Jan tSatChT Sander were chosen as Sweetheart Queen and King by those attending the dance. Candidates for Sweetheart King and Queen were nominated from each Ju- nior homeroom, then the list was narrowed down by a preliminary ballot. The King and Queen were elected and crowned at the dance. The Sophomore class can be proud of their efforts in making Sweetheart a success and can count it as good experience for their work on the prom next year.
