Dating Proves to Be One of the Although football and basketball always attract large crowds at Oak Hills, the most popular sport is undoubtedly dating. The dating season, unlike other sports seasons, extends all year around. The rules are flexible and often times are made by the participants in the sport. The only referees are, perhaps, parents. Not limited to a court or field, dating extends to movie theaters, plays, dances and concerts. This sport is practiced in the halls, over the phone at night and, an indirect ap- proach, through friends. Dating has a larger par- ticipation than any varsity, reserve, or intramural program at Oak Hills. Competition is even more furious than any challenge provided by rival teams in basketball. Dating is also perhaps the oldest sport known to man. What is the reason for its longevity? The secret of dating is the fun, companionship and the thrill of competition it provides for its fans.
