FCEM Seniors, there's a dream in our hearts this clay For happiness in our lives as we go along our way. So let's salute each dream with a gladsome song To brighten our pathways as we go along. Many sunny hours are gone, far gone, all spent In the flurry and press of our high school years, In study, in thought, in mood, in wonderment, Blended happily together with laughter and tears. For the glory and glitter of our youthful past, For the things of life that will last. Seniors, look well to each little dream To guide our aspiration and worthy aim, For a dream is a potent and lovely thing In the heart of a slave or a king. Each dream to us may bring Some good and worthy thing: A thing hidden in some lowly place, Or blazing in its open grace. Such are our dreams, dear classmates, Dreams of tomorrow, ready for the mold, So with gentle fingers, let us hold And shape them in the true likeness Of a good life, and call it the way of happiness.
