CLASS PROPHECY We are now receiving a phone call from the future years, to tell us of happenings as time marches on. So be patient, lend me your ears, and listen to the conversation. I saw HAROLD SLAUGHTER the other day at The Annual World Fair in New ,York City. I-le was the top star in the Dare Devil Races. Since Milton Berle has retired, HENRY FRAZIER has taken his place on television as top Comedian. He is now known as M.r. Television by everyone in the United States. LUGENE WILKINS is married to JACK HARDY. It looks like the old woman that lived in the shoe, she has so many children she doesn't know what to do. BOBBY WINSTON has been looking around for an office to hang his shingle on, you know he is a doctor. I suspect you always did wonder why he worked so hard to build up those muscles. Hold on to your chair, patients, please. GLEN WALL is the fellow to call when you need dishes washed. Please understand he is a great dish washer. Lower the gang plank folks! Do you see what I see? None other than our own R. L. OAKES, who is now in the United States Navy. NELL WOODS is now secretary for her husband. Nell always was good in typing, but no one ever guessed shewould some day be a secretary and marry her boss. WINFRED STANFIELD always has been pretty good at sketching. He now has a job as a commercial artist for one of the lqge newspapers in Raleigh. Say, who is that smiling nurse coming out of Room 2ll in Duke Hospital? DOLLY MAE GLASSCOCK, of course.Who wouldn't get sick for her to hold his hand? Take a letter, please, Miss NANCY BRADSHAW. She is secretary to the president of a large bank in Greensboro. JOYCE ANN MURRAY is married to one of her old flames. l hear she is a very efficient wife. Maybe her Home Economics did her some good after all. My, that new filling station that EARL TINGEN is building is really swell. Some people wonder how he did so well, but I would like to know if his conscience hurts him when he sells three quarts of gas for a gallon. As we all remember, CAROLYN ROYSTER started her career as a housewife early. She has carried her career even farther and now has two smiling youngsters. No one can say Carolyn didn't make a go of her marriage. IRA NELSON has finally gotten on television as a comedian. There was never a dull moment at school as long as Ira is around. Say, what's this? Buy your tickets for the wrestling match tonight, JOYCE OAKES defends her champion title. Well all I can say is, it should be exciting because REBECCA PITTARD is her manager. If any of you fellows and girls go riding on the road of matrimony--on your honeymoon, how about dropping by to see MARIE ADCOCK in Florida? I understand she has quite a fleet of yachts. RUBIE DALE WATKINS is still waiting at home. She is waiting for Cecil Howard to say the word fbe my wifej. I suppose you wonder what the crystal ball holds for rne. I arn manager of an American cigarette factory and still looking for the right girl. Here's wishing good luck to all. BOBBY LEE ELLIOTT Prophet 15 I
