We, the class of 1969, dedicate this publication of BELLES MEMOIRES to the distinguished new member of our faculty, Mrs. Kay Poarch for her perpetuation of the ideals of higher education, for her encouragement of student progress and growth, and for her unselfishness in her work as teacher, advisor, and coach. ... (ileril Bartles (feather of the IJear We the members of the 1969 Annual Staff are proud to have chosen as Teacher of the 1 ear Mr. Cecil Bartles, Mr. Bartles is a devoted teacher whose main interest is his students. He does his best to teach his students all he can so that they may prepare themselves for the years to come. Mr. Bartles, better known as “Coach,” has devoted much of his own time to other activities. On the football field he is an inspiring coach leading his boys to many a victory. In the gym he does his best to aid the girls in a game. “Coach” also gives the boys on the track team an extra push which is needed to win an event. All the members of Oak Hill High School appreciate everything he has done for us. 1 hank you, Mr. Bartles, for your leadership and guidance and for all the time you have given us. 8
