New Athletic Complex Home Stadium seats 2.000 spectators. Four lighted tennis courts. This Book's For You with many thanks to Mr. Hoover, the Board of Education, teachers, ond the com- munity for helping to moke the new facilities possible. The actual planning of the pro- gram was initiated in the foil of 1980. The construction began in the sum- mer of 1981. In February of 1982 we were able to move into the addition of the building. The outside facilities were completed late in the summer of 1982. The football field wos sod- ded in June of 1982 by the school's summer staff. The track was com- pleted just ahead of the opening football game. Visitor's Stadium seats 1,400 fans. Mr. Melvin Hoover, while assistant superintendent headed much of the project. Later, os superintendent, he saw to it that all plans were carried out. ’’Overall, I would say the work progressed satisfactorily and rhe end result is a sire which is functional, ac- cessible, and beautiful, says Mr. Hoover.
