Varsity Football Cheerleaders The 1982 Varsity Football Cheerleaders showed many ac- complishments during the season. This post summer, the cheerleaders went to competition ot rhe Ottawa County Fair and the Ohio State Fair. When they attended comp or Ohio Store University, they were picked 4rh Notional team and qualified for Notional Grand Championships in Eosr Lansing, Michigan. This book's for you. The Final Battle at Bloomdale A Gowersox Block in the moking!!! Scott, there hosgor to be on easier way through!!! Our quarterback. Lorry Fizer. Lorry mokes o run for it. O.H's AWESOME Todd Hooper!!! The Oak Harbor foorball ream had an outstanding season this year, winning the Suburban Lakes League title outright. Injuries early in the season set some of our guys on the bench, bur they all worked hard and came back to fill Run o little foster, Donny! They're gaining!! fheiT spots. The Rockets kept themselves up for each game and defeated their opponents methodically all the way to an S.L.L. title. When they defeated Elmwood, the buses gor a police and fire truck escort through Oak Harbor, complete with sirens and flashing lights. Many of our players were chosen for end-of-season honors. Eight players were picked for First Team All League, and four were picked for Second Team All League. Four of the players made District Teams, with four more receiving District Special Mention.
