Mr. Fuller Mr. Fuller, who is postmaster of the Oak Harbor post office, graduated from Bowling Green High School. Among his many hobbies he prefers golf and, of course, stamp col- lecting. His everyday philosophy is, “A man’s success depends on how he takes criticism.” Mr. Lockwood Mr. Lockwood, a graduate of Salem-Oak Harbor, is now employed at Erie Army De- pot. Among his very many interests, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf, Mr. Lock- wood’s philosophy is to just follow the Golden Rule. Mr. Norwine Mr. Norwine, whose philosophy is: “Let not the low descending sun view from thy hand no worthy action done,” is the execu- tive vice president, cashier, and secretary of the Oak Harbor State Bank. Among his many hobbies, his favorite is coin collecting. Mr. Scheuerman Mr. Scheuerman, who enjoys all sports, is a time keeper at the state garage. He graduated from Salem-Oak Harbor High School. Mr. Scheuerman, serves as clerk on the Board of Education. He also plans on retiring shortly. “Live and Let Live” is his famous everyday philosophy. 7

board of education With high regard, we would like to express our deep appreciation and gratitude for your fine efforts in the successful operation of our school You, the Board of Education, have faithfully guided the students through their endeavors and have executed certain provisions for the benefit of the students. Therefore, we the class of 1965 wish to dedicate our Harbor Lites to you, the Salem-Oak Harbor Board of Education for your interest and dedicated service to the students of Salem-Oak Harbor High School. Mr. Leow Mr. Leow, the president of the school board, enjoys hunting, fishing, and ponies. At the present time Mr. Leow is engaged in farming. His philosophy is a most famous one, “Think Positive.” Mr. Mylander Mr. Mylander is a graduate of Salem-Oak Harbor. He enjoys golf and farming. His active participation in local and state politics have made him well-known to many people. Mr. Mylander is also noted for his hu- morous story telling. 6
