Perm As our 1960 rocket zooms across the earth we see, in various places, all our old classmates. What's this? We seem to be nearing a circus, yes it is a circus.. Well, well, guess who we see, that's right--none other than Elwyn Hulst, complete with lion skin and dumbbells, no not the ones you knew in school, the IRON ones! That's correct he's the strong man of the centuy. We continue to look around, but seeing nothing of interest we take off again, this time in the direction of the Bower's Company, where we see Jeanette Hilberdink, world famous Bower's model--Ccontrol yourselves boysli And right across the street we find Paul Lang Jr., President of the First National Bank. His secretary Helen Hunskor is lighting his cigars with 3100 bills. Khmmmmmmm, sounds like a good ideabl And as we come out of the bank, we find Martin Abrahamse, looking very dignified in a neat white suit, casually strolling down 5th Avenue. You guessed it, he's sweeping up all the old dirty dollar bills Paul has out. Quite a street cleaner, Martinlll. And now, we take a quick trip to Holly- wood, where we find the ONE and ONLY Andy Ottesen, starring in the THIN MAN. Thinking this should be interesting, we decide to stay thrown and see what it's like. Who's directing all this? Oh, now we see that it is Margery ' Q Morris, world famous director! And standing next to her waiting to take her next command, 2222 2 is Bob Alexander, long noted as the best copy- C 6' I 1 boy in the O P U FILMS INC. 1' K About this time we decide that we've seen -v enough about movies and so we visit the quiet little morgue, where we find the great Bill White, always the life of the party,--playing - l host to all of his silent friends. O. 0 H!! I . After that bit of morbid amusement, we go gCK4Jg N',f! in search of high entertainment, so we visit ot bl the Rainbow Room, w hee we see none other than X O g Margaret Eaton, doing the famous WBALLET de la fL.,, -5,7 BUBBLEN and who's that in the front row with 0 the huge pin? Oh yes, no mistaking that playboy, Larry Kammengag I always knew there '-f was a gleam in his eye! And speaking of a gleam, as we leave the Rainbow Room we come to R'-T a boy who is sitting in the corner lighting matches. Upon closer observation, we see that the match has Howard Stovall attached to the other end. Some one should tell him what hap- pens to little boys who play with fire! Next on our list is the city hospital, and who do we find there but Harriet Lang, the most sympathetic nurse in Gleezelville, and look who she's taking care of, Al Hoffman, the poor dear was lifting a toothpick and he dropped it on his toe! The doctors say he may live, but his foot will never be the same again. 12

x They received their diplomas with tears in their eyes And sadly but firmly, they said their goodbyes Yes, this is the end, they must come here no more On Gram er school days they have shut the door. Their summer vacation, boy, did they have fun But soon their Freshmen year was begun The 26 Freshmen were certainly green And did they ever think initiation was mean... Then they had their chance to be torturous too And they thought up the nAwfullestu things to do For they were big Sophomores, and it was their turn To make the nGreen Freshmen' howl and squirm. Revenge was sweet, but sweeter still Was their Junior year, at the top of the hill With proms, and dances, and hi-school romances, And banquets, and plays, were they in a daze! With class pins and rings, and all sorts of things And meetings and beatings and fun was begun With breeze staffs and good laughs, and hi-lights and Big fights, and teachers, an preachers, and money to Wow, This was the way their year was to end. And now that that's over, they're way up on top And this year is spinning by just like a top The first thing they did was to give their play That they'1l always remember, each year day by day. They went to the Junior's Prom, had some nice hours, But they know it wasn't as much fun as theirs. With half the year gone, there's not much more to do But they've still got a banquet, and a Senior Ball too. And than graduation, how long they've awaited The day their diplomas would finally be dated-- They thought they'd be happy, instead they are blue For they hate the thought of leaving you But they're really not leaving, for deep in their hearts, Fond memories will linger, they'll never depart, ll H U ll 01711 l EEEEI CIT? 17 F- 'V Q 1 3, gain lend. Our next stop is the town steak house, where we find the famous potato peeler, Bill Braddang what a willing worker, especially with that mean slave-driver, Margaret Ducken, standing over him with a whip! And who's over there at the meat counter? We can't believe our eyes, but it is Terry Mitchell, When we asked him how he liked his work he pulled that old one on us.....nIt's the same old grindin We find our time is growing short, so we leave the town of Geezevillee and are almost to Webb-foot Falls when we see a grey-haired man, rather the worse for wear, pursueing a tiny lass along the road--NO MISTAKING THAT GUY! Hello, Norm Dyer. It seemshe has no time to chat so we leave him and upon reaching Webb-foot Falls we visit the telephone office where we find Joanne Sheckels, long-distance operator. She likes the telephone so well that she even listens in when she 1sn't on duty---a typical operator.....Well, what do you know, a call for uso Joanne tells us a telegram has just come in. Barbara Baumann, well known-as nLEGS la BAUN, is now a cigarette girl in the Club Habanna. We decide to go see her, so off we go again...Well, we're here!!! It doesn't take long with our rocket you know. As we step from it the door is opened by Art Lang, he always knew he'd wear gold braid some day. Once inside we see Shirley Wooldridge, hostess and waitress. My it's amazing how anyone that nbroad' can squeeze between those takles. Upon pay- ing our bill we see Connie Martin, the cashier, waiting for our money. She always liked to take money from helpless little boys....l Next to her, waiting to carry us out fafter we'd seen our checkh was Barbara Jo Faber. Quite capable too--6'4u tall, very strong, and still given extra strength by Nick's sweater. After paying the check at the cafe we are broke so we take our rocket and journey back to where we came from. Tl!-I END 3225 F, I Ill ' .iggY. i7' EQ!
