What a time of building friendships and foundations, trusts and understandings - structure not easily seen by the passer-by, but as real as, and more lasting than the mountains of grammar exercises and literature. , To the builders, my staff, who helped to put it all together I would like to say Thanks. Thanks for staying that first week in September when all you heard was You will have to work very hard on this yearbook. Thanks for your enthusiasm as you tried the new and foreign concept of lay-out. Thanks for letting me be a teacher rather than warden almost all of the time. Thanks for accepting the responsibility of yourselves. Thanks for being patient when the pictures turned out strange, the copy wouldn't fit, when we had to borrow typewriters because the seven lined up on the floor wouldn't type, when l goofed the directions or forgot to buy film. . 1 Thanks to each of you who said, Sure I will help when the due l dates drew near and the jobs stacked up. Thanks for listening and knowing when your inexperienced teacher needed help. Thanks for letting me see a part of you that's not always open to others; so they never have a chance to know how really terrific today's youth can be. There's a sweet sadness that comes with June as goodbyes are said. I thank you for the gift of memories that I will always treasure. Together we met the obstacles and challenges of producing a yearbook. Together we met each of those challenges and overcame 4 them. Together we built a great yearbook.
