YEARBOOK ROYALTY April l9 was the date for the first annu- al Spring Fling Luau. The Yearbook Staff put the dance together and it turned out to be a big success. Raffle tickets were sold in advance for a dinner for two at the Konakai. A drawing was held and sen- ior Tracy Smith was the lucky winner. Sound Vibrations provided the music and a photographer from Rolland Studios came and took the pictures. The King and Queen candidates were nominated by the faculty and the student body voted on the winners. The three senior Queen candidates were, Stacy Keeling, Shelly Moore and Amy Smith. The three senior King candidates were Greg George, Tim Lansford and Hody Yates. The Yearbook Staff decided that the seniors w0uld be the only ones eligible to win. The under- classman attendants were juniors, Debbie Ault and Tim Fore, sophomores, Sally Smith and John Hupman, and freshman, Valorie Borland and Jeff Boyd. As Miss Sue Kespohl announced the l984-85 Year- book King and Queen, Sherrie Poindexter and Shana Noteman had the honor of crowning the winners, Stacy Keeling and Greg George. 22
