woman judge in the Supreme Court, which goes to prove that women, too, have brains, although it's contrary to popular opinion, Rosalene Oskins, Star reporter for the Solar Times, had just returned from the most important assignment of her career. Earth's ambassador to Mars, Billy Lind- quist, was just enteringarocket ship bound for that planet, where he is to attend a very important conference. As for me, my name is Patty Thomas, and having spent part of my high school days living in a third floor apartment, I decided Imight as well be higher in the clouds, so I came to Jupiter, where lhave lived since. It IS here on this planet thatl relate this account of my friends on Earth. class h ISUOR The Senior class of 1952 began the Freshman year in 1948 with an enrollment of 29. Our siponsor was Mrs. Marion Wyatt. Ioan Allison dropped after the first quarter and move to Mayview, Emmett and Lynette Hazzard also moved the second semester. Jackie Evans moved to Brookfield and Elda Mae Haile to Odessa at the end of the year. Our Sophomore year began with 30 members enrolled. This year our sponsor was Mr. Garrett O'Dell. Gwendolyn McKinney, Harvey Robinson, and Mary Frances Sudduth were with us this year. Gwendolyn moved to Lee's Summit the second semester and Shirelyloan Adams dropped. At the end of the year we lost Mary Frances Sudduth, Har- vey Robinson, and Elsie Carpenter. Beginning our Junior year, we had 26 members enrolled, At the beginning of the year Don Adams from William Chrisman joined us and Connie Larrison droppe during the second semester. We gave our class play, Little Jimmie Jones, on Feb. 6, directe by Miss Moore. On May ll the Juniors gave the annual banquet and prom in honor of the Seniors. We began our Senior year with the same number enrolled as were enrolled the Junior year. Norma Munden did not return. Gerald Burns from Glendale, Arizona, and Joan Williams joined the class this year. Twenty-three of our members have been to- gether four years fthroughout our high school daysj. Miss Mary Moore is our class spon- sor this year. f During our four years of high school, we have had the following teachers: Mr. H. F. Cline, Miss Mary Moore, Mrs. Gertrude Wyatt, Mr. Garret O'Dell, Mrs. Hannah Belle Peck, Mr. Samuel Birk, Mrs. Raymond Scott, Mrs. Ethel D. Felts, Mr. Howard M. Vaughan, Mr. Joe Wolf, Miss Betty Kinney, and Mr. Jack Vrentas.

20 YEARS IHTSO the futune class DRODHGCY Things being extremely dull on Jupiter yesterday, Idecided to find out what my former classmates were doing. After turning my Magnascope first this way and that, I managed to locate Earth. These were the scenes that I witnessed. Dick Larson, head coach at K. State, was running his suffering basketball team throiigh a series of strenuous exercises. Hearingja violent explosion on the campus I de- cide to investigate, and who should I find ut Dwight Heath, professor of advanced atomic energy, emerging from the remains of the Science Building. It seems one of his experiments back ired. Leaving him to his troubles, I looked further and after two or three dizzying glances, discovered none other than the speed demon, Gary Costin, burning up the race track inhis new jet racer. Gary is president of the Daredev1l Drivers racing club. On the sound stage of M. G. M. in Hollywood, Idiscovered the famous team of Burns and Adams making a stupendous new picture. In the White House, I found none other than Eddie Morrow, the newly appointed secretary to the President. In his New York studio, Charles Gauldin, nationally famous artist, was to be seen pjainting a beau- tiful picture of--of-- fyour uess is as good as mine. Among the right lights of Broadway, the name of Reitga Smith outshines the rest. Reitha is known as the most sensational dancer of the century. What was that streak of light? A meteor! ! A comet! No! It's just that'Rocket Express again. Gene Perry, hav ng advanced fromrhe idea of bus lines, is now operating an lnterplanetary rocket line. Buddy Douglas, famous jet ace, is one of Gene's most competent pilots. J. W. Day, after spending his high school days slaving away in a drugstore, has put his knowledge to practical use and now owns a chain of drugstores on Earth and several other planets. Wanda Wildschuetz, coach of the Wildschuetz Wildcats, after fighting tremendous odds for the past ten years, has finally brought girls basketball into the limelight. Patsy Shaw, woman Senator from Missouri, has introduced a bill into Congress that is intended to revolutionize completely the present systems of government. On eir cattle ranch in Argentine, I caught Marion Turner and Robert Garrison with their robot cow hands in the middle of a round -up, Looking into a modern school room, I discovered a class in Literature studying the poems of the distinguished Dr. Longfellow Scofield. Joan Williams, after many years of training, now holds the honore position of colonel in the WAF. In the finest dress shops on Fifth Avenue were to be seen the exclusive creations of Ann Morrison, world famous designer. fBy the way, Ann also keeps up her duties as a housewife. Mildred Ruckdeschell and Josephine Canfield are co-owners of a famous pleasure resort in the Sahara Desert. Wayne Webb, after playing basketball on many professional teams has now retired and is manager of the Globe Trotters. Looking for a sure winner in the races? Just ask Bill Williams. He owns the fastest horses in the country and they win every race -- or at least, most of them. Josephine Canfiel and Mildred Ruckdesc ell will their ability to giggle in study hall to Jimmy Cummins, Buddy Douglas wills his physique to Gene Scofiel , and his out-of-town gals to Orville Clark. Gerald Burns leaves his unfinished projects in his backyard to Curtis Day, and his place in harmony and theory class to anyone who understands music. Rosalene Oskins wills her ability to read True Romance Magazines in glee club to Wilma Heath. To Steve Romanchuk, Patty Thomas leaves her p ace in the Pep Squad, and her moth -eaten basketball suit to Linda John- son. Billy Williams wills his BLACK hair to Curtis Bundy, and his shy disposition to Mary Ellen Barker. Billy Lindquist would like to leave his car to Glenn Williams, but decides he had better keep it, instead he leaves Glenn his place on the football team. Gene Perry wills his position in football, fwaterboyj, to Don Keck, and chubby structure to Allen Morgan. Dicky Larson leaves his place as Senior class president to David Heath, and his place on the basketball team to Ronnie Reagin. To Lawrence Dennis, Robert Garrison wills his Chevy with the understanding he has to keep it clean. Ioan Williams leaves her seat in Study Hall ffirst row, front seatj to anyone who has a desire to throw paper-wads, and her red?? hair to Gwyn Wilkinson. To Sylvia Phillips, Reitha Smith wi ls her ability to catch and hold a man. Patsy Shaw leaves her place in the sextette to Sharon Hutchings and her ability to glo steady to Nancy Baker. Charles Gauldin wills his ability to get along with the teac ers to his little brother, Donald, and his good- nature to Donna Smith. Wanda Wildschuetz leaves her beat-up basketball shoes to Donna Warren fif they fitj, and her basketball suit to Henry Allen. Don Adams wills his ability to play the French harp to Roy Gene Turner, and his way with the girls to Ernest Barber. June Davis leaves her freckles to Ioan Adams and her ability to concen- trate to Dorothy Booker. Don Scofield leaves his bicycle to Bobby Bailey, and his ability to write poetry to Dick Alexander. Gary Costin wills his ability to 'turn a corner on two wheels to Arlie Cummins. Wayne Webb leaves his place on the basketball team to Nijah Heath, and two feet of his height to Lola Mansell. J. W. Day leaves his wavy hair to Seryl Webb. To Bill Dean, Eddie Morrow leaves his place in the candy room, and his good grades to Dale Johnson. Dwight Heath leaves is courteous manners to Virgil Munden, and his place in the boys quartet to Donnie Shaw. To the teachers we leave the blessed relief of not having to endure our presence any longer and our thanks to them for the knowledge they have elped us to gain.
