English ks' MRS. HALEY was a real eye-opener here at O'Dea. She comes to us from Bainbridge High School, and just recently graduated from Seattle University. At S. U. Mrs. Haley majored in Spanish and History and received her Bachelor of Arts in Education. She teaches Basic Skills in Mathematics and English to Sophomores and Freshmen. Mrs. Haley finds the atmosphere challenging and exciting at O'Dea. 12 In his second year at O'Dea, BROTHER PERKINS can be found, with coffee cup in hand, teaching the juniors and Seniors the many aspects of the English language. Teaching Religion to the Frosh rounds out the rest of Brother's school day curriculum. Graduating with a B. A. in English from Lewis College, Brother will soon complete his Masters in Music from DePaul University. Outside of the hustle and bustle of the classroom, Brother Perkins functions as the chairman of the English Department. He is the moderator of the Mother's Club, the director of the Clee Club, and the yearbook moderator. 'L
