Would you like to buy a directory? so e gi -Q at THE 1972-73 OFFICERS FOR EN AMIE WERE: Sue McGregor, Pres., Linda Fagan Bonnie Bailey, First V.-Pres., Terry Stewart, Dev. and Photo., Debbie Webb, Sect and Regina White, Pub., Teresa Miller, Tele., Vicki Hale, Ser., Susan Waters, Treas., V,.Pre5,, Sue Williqmgr Ser, und Teresa Dunnqgqn, Tele, En Amie, which means among friends in French is the girls' service club at Wyatt. Their activities and contributions to Wyatt were varied and numerous. They helped decorate a hall for Homecoming and to encourage school spirit, they sold paper links to each grade to make a spirit chain. At the conclusion of the contest, the Sophomores had the longest chain. Another one of their proiects was the compilation and selling of the student directory. By selling advertise- ments to businesses to help pay for the printing, the ' cost of the directories to the students was only thirty- five cents. The annual Val-a-Gram sale was another of En Amie's many successful ventures. Friendliness and service is a vital part of En Amie and it does not stop at the boundaries of O. D. Wyatt. At Christmas they gave a donation to the city's Good Fellows Fund and donated food and clothing to a needy family. i l E ,....,..-.nawc Terry Stewart, Bonnie Bailey and Sue McGregor dig the directory's centerfold.

Let' iThe O. D. Wyatt Stage Band was a group of musically ilented students consisting of twenty-two performing mem- ers. They participated in many concerts and contests during ie year. Performing for others to provide entertainment and nioyment was one of their greatest satisfactions. They gave :ncerts at David K. Sellers Elementary and Wyatt. They con- tantly strove to become better musicians. The stage band S take 'Grazin' from the top. entered contests, where they received constructive criticism and awards for their music. Contests at Stephenville and Castleberry High Schools were attended. To express their sup- port of the Chaps, they performed at basketball games. From the example of our stage band we saw that music was one of the expressions of man's creativity. ,Lab y This song must be in the key of Z! The choral department, realizing the necessity of expres- on in a person's life, tried to make music a very meaningful art of the life of any interested student at Wyatt. These stu- ents worked hard learning new techniques and developing voices. Their work has helped to enrich not only their but also the lives of the student :ma taculty members heard them perform. HE 1972-73 OFFICERS FOR WYATT BLUES WERE: fSIanding2 Barbara Sisson, Pres., f5eatedj Cheree vans, Treas., Terry Lovell, Sec., Laurie Wilson, Proiects, Yolanda Flint, Pub., and Lisa Crenshaw, V-Pres. i, N- i-, Sheila Brittain, Pres. Keep That Spirit Up Wyatt Blues started the year in a spirited way by attending the first pep rally and yelling pre- dictions of victory. Throughout the year, this enthusiasm never ceased. They made locker decorations for the athletes' lockers and signs for the auditorium, formed a path of spirit on the football field for the team to run through, and dressed in blue uniforms on game days to demonstrate to all their support of Wyatt's vari- ous teams. Attendance awards for football, bas- ketball, track, and baseball were given to the girls at the conclusion of each sport. Their support of Wyatt extended beyond ath- letic competition. They participated in the Roa- drunner Round-up with a colorama and a raffle for a radio. Members took pride in decorating the west end of A hall in the traditional goal post design complete with yard lines, crowds, players, and slogans. This brought back memo- ries to both students and exes. Pick lt Up Wyatt Y, sponsored by the Young Women's Christian Association consisted of twenty girls concerned with the pollution of our commu- nity. They strove to improve our environment by periodi- cally holding cleanup cam- paigns. One such campaign was at Carter Park, which is near Wyatt's campus. Their annual camp-out, which was held at Whitney State Park, renewed their hope and determination to preserve our natural settings for all to enioy.
