Let' iThe O. D. Wyatt Stage Band was a group of musically ilented students consisting of twenty-two performing mem- ers. They participated in many concerts and contests during ie year. Performing for others to provide entertainment and nioyment was one of their greatest satisfactions. They gave :ncerts at David K. Sellers Elementary and Wyatt. They con- tantly strove to become better musicians. The stage band S take 'Grazin' from the top. entered contests, where they received constructive criticism and awards for their music. Contests at Stephenville and Castleberry High Schools were attended. To express their sup- port of the Chaps, they performed at basketball games. From the example of our stage band we saw that music was one of the expressions of man's creativity. ,Lab y This song must be in the key of Z! The choral department, realizing the necessity of expres- on in a person's life, tried to make music a very meaningful art of the life of any interested student at Wyatt. These stu- ents worked hard learning new techniques and developing voices. Their work has helped to enrich not only their but also the lives of the student :ma taculty members heard them perform.
