Senior Volleyball: FRONT ROW: Joyce Kubalik, Judy Verville, Elaine Letourneau, Bunny McDonald. BACK ROW: Bernice Broder, June Wakaruk, Charlotte Brindza, Nancy Belcourt. MISSING: Cathy Martel, Cecile Renaud. Senior girls volleyball team, under the direction of Miss Meyer, displayed marks of fine sportsmanship and school spirit, although unsuccessful in their attempt to capture t he championship. Junior Volleyball: FRONT ROW: Gail Karosas, Sally Littlejohn, Sheila Keet, Leona Huculak, Diann McCrank, Miss D. Puetz. BACK ROW: Rita Wacowich, Irene Baert, Paula Guenette, Eileen Curran, Barbara Wacowich. The Juniors, seemingly enthused with their practices, have not had op¬ portunities to display their skills. The newly organized team should come forth with many victories in the coming season. CURLING IN ACTION The first day of curling in the newly formed club proved both interesting and beneficial to the many beginners. Jack demonstrates the procedure of throwing a rock. BADMINTON CLUB Badminton, the newest of all our clubs, provides entertainment for the girls during the noon hours. Most of the girls are merely beginners, but they have a terrific time batting the birdie around. Miss Meyer is in charge and as yet no executive has been elected.

CURLING CLUB The electing of officers was the first step in the formation of the Curling Club. Under the supervision of Mr. Hrycun, the teams met each Thursday at the Alberta Avenue Curling Rink. Regular attendance and friendly competition resulted in a good time for all. BACK ROW: Mr. Hrycun. FRONT ROW: Sandy Nimco, Jack Trepanier, Barbara Whiteman. JUNIOR BASKETBALL The Juniors, seemingly enthused with their practices, have not had opportunities to display their skills. The newly or¬ ganized team should come forth with many victories in the coming season. BACK ROW: Dolenda Desmarais, Pat Kopala, Lorna Upright, Betty Podlubny, Sally Littlejohn, Cathy Martel. FRONT ROW: Margaret McGonigal, Pat Podlubny, Assistant Coach; Miss F. Guedo, Coach; Gaile Korasas. BOWLING CLUB After the organization of the bowling league, under the supervision of Mr. Nimco, students met every Wednesday at the Plaza Bowling Alley. BACK ROW: Pat Corlett, Ken Graham. FRONT ROW: Marna Phillips, Mr. Nimco, Ted Paszek.
