f Running the morning marathon for the O ' Leary Special, joining in the- pre-class buzz sessions, facing the hourly challenge of the 3R ' s , participating in the extracurricular activities --a typical day in the life of an O ' Leary High School student. Nevertheless, the first four hundred such hectic days have been characterized by an encouraging combination of initiative, development and progress. One of the culminating features of these two years has been accepting and fulfilling of the responsibility for the editing of our first yearbook. To the principals. Sister Theresa Marie and Brother Hilarion, to our adviser Mrs. Lucich and to the entire yearbook staff we extend our sincere appreciation for the effort, skill, patience, and advice they gave so generously. The Envoy means the messenger, and thus adequately expresses the purpose of a yearbook. We hope that in future years it will continue to serve as a messenger to bring back to you pleasant memories of your present associates, and of the various events in our busy and exciting year here at O ' Leary. Co-Editors: Janet Tatarchuk Anthony Wankiewicz

CONGRATULATIONS FROM HIS EXCELLENCY BISHOP SAVARYN Dear Graduates: With this first edition of the O ' Leary School Yearbook, it offers me great pleasure in extending my sincerest congratulations to the first graduates from this new house of learning. On your graduation day you experience an inner satisfaction that you have accomplished great things and you shine with a readiness to face the life of your own responsibilities. I wish you happiness in whatever walk of life God wishes you to choose. Your days will be pleasant and secure if you weave into the pattern of everyday living the principles of Christian living, the knowledge of which you have acquired during your school years. Then your life and the lives of those around you will become richer because of this wonderful treasure you carried away with you from O ' Leary High School. I hope and pray that Christ may be for you a lasting source of light, peace and every good. Neil N. Savaryn, Bishop for Ukrainian Catholics.
