Meaning of Art Explored by More This year the Art Depart- ment had classes for students from all four levels. This en- abled some students to study art for a three year period on the secondary level and gave invaluable groundwork for an exciting career in such areas as interior design or architec- ture. Each year is unique be- cause of the unchanging wonder of new ideas discovered by each student who graces the World of art in room 102. Now Liz, no matter which way you look at it, it just does not look human. Bill Helling sets up his art project while Kathy King no one recognizes her in her disguise. New ypes of English Courses Add ariety This is the second year the English department has offered semester course electives for juniors and seniors. Courses in American, English, and Western literature are Varied in content and approach, giving students a wide Variety from which to choose. Film Media is a new course this year. Two practical courses are basic Writing and Reading Unlimited. Freshmen and sophomore English classes include emphasis on the basic skills of writing, recognition of types in literature as well as interpretation, and language study. . ?
