Football Season Begins Win Losses Off to a bad start, the O'Ha.ra Varsity football team without their annual Win over Saint Pius, found themselves with but one victory after their first five games. Only ranked' Rockhurst was able to overwhelm the young team however as the Celtics held Liberty scoreless, lost to ranked Helias by a single point, and dropped the Lee's Summit game by five points after leading throughout most of the game. In building up a 20 point lead over Hogan, the Celts were able to show some of their po- tential which was to carry them through the second half of the season. Mark Smith, varsity quarterback, led the team through many exciting games, often did some of his own man- euvering in getting the ball toward the goal line. -ru' ' '-'--E fv ., - ,5- YH Ne... .
