CHESS CLUB The chess club was organized in 1956 in order to stimulate a greater interest in the game. During the second year, we were fortunate enough to meet and successfully defeat the Roosevelt team. Last year most of the players were beginners and not experienced enough for tournament play. Our pre- sent members are more experienced and are about ready for tournament play, Club members in the photograph are: Front row, left to right-Joseph Patterson, Robert Russell, Eddie Lack, Clarence Bauder, Eugene Pool.
