GIRLS GYM TEAM The purpose of the Girls Gym Team is to enrich the girls' knowledge of stunts and tumbling and to perform feats of strength, balance, agility, and flex- ibility. During the past decade stunts and tumbling have come into their own as a constructive and sig- nificant part of a girl's education. The rising em- phasis upon physical fitness cast a new light upon those activities which involve the manipulation of the body in feats of skill and strength. In partci- pating in stunts and tumbling a girl broadens her physical, mental, and social resources. Miss West- phaelinger is the sponsor.
