The O'Donoghue Panthers, having started late in the season, played but two games. The first was played against Belmont Abbey, and the boys from Belmont turned back the hard fighting boys from O'D. by the score, 20-7. The defensive standouts were Harold Faust, Jim Moffett, Patty Neilson, and Ed Lampke. The offensive star was Tommy O'Connor, who Went 97 yards for O.'D.'s tally. This was the best offensive game O'D. had played in two years. In the second game O'D. came through on a questionable passing attack to down A. G. 13-0. Standouts were: the forward wall, Jimmy Moffett and Ed Lampke. The offensive standouts were Tommy O'Connor and Jimmy Moffett for running, and Benton Moffett and Ed Lampke with their two touchdowns, scoring passing combination.
