LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the graduating class of Odell High School, in the year of our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-three, being ready to depart this life of turmoils and hardships at the W. R. Odell High School, to prevent the possibility of a civil war between those classes left behind, as to what each shall have of our possessions, do hereby make and proclaim this our last will and testament: ARTICLE I To the state of North Carolina, the County of Cabarrus, and to our school we leave thanks for making it possible for us to obtain an education. ARTICLE II To our principal and teachers we leave our deepest appreciation for all they have done for us. ARTICLE III To our parents we leave our deepest gratitude and respect for the interest, encouragement, and persistence they exercised in keeping us in school. ARTICLE IV To the undergraduates: To the Juniors we leave the right to be Seniors. To the Sophomores, to be Juniors; and to the Freshmen, the right to laugh at the lost Freshmen next year. ARTICLE V Individual Bequests: During our years of school we have accumulated some well known ar- ticles which we would like to bestow upon specific underclassmen.
