1' Guide, Teocher And Friend To Miss Ella Goodslr our friend and teacher we the class of 1956 fondly dedicate our Tou er Nliss Goodsir who was born in Brook lyn lived for some time in Liberty New York where she attended Liberty High School Upon graduation she entered the Heffley Institute located in Brooklyn and later studied in Rochester Business Instr tute in Rochester and ln New York and Columbia Universities Before coming to Nyack High School Miss Goodslr taught at Liberty High School Although she now specializes in academic and commercial typing Miss Coodslr also teaches bookkeeping and business arithmetic Being extremely proficient in these sub jects she has for many years done the school the tremendous service of keeping the entire books for the General Organiza- tion. The task of keeping these books in order also entails keeping a record of the money' received and dispersed by twenty'- five major Nyack Hi fh School clubs. Like many educators, Miss Goodsir thoroughly' enjoys traveling. Having travel- ed extensiyely here in the United States and in Newfoundland Miss Goodsir has journeyed abroad to England and Scot- land. where she was thrilled by encounter- in, some relatives. whom she had never seen. liecausf of her vast interest in traveling. photography' has become another of her favorite hobbies. She now has quite an sxtensive collection of films both of her travels and of her family. As our future lies unrolled, Miss Good- sir. we should like to thank you who have helped so many' of us prepare for it.
