The club presented two plays in assembly, Uncle Bob's Pride , and the Monlcey's Paw . In March the members took a trip to New York City to see The King and l . There were also field trips to see television shows. Omcers are President, Peggy Giles, Vice-Pres- ident, -Ann May Boyd, Secretary, Janice Sindt, and Treasurer, Diane Smith. Q Y pkg. 'A+ S-43' 21.1. Members of the Eleventh Grade Dramatic Club presented Antic Spring in an assembly last February seventh. Advisor for the club is H. Joseph Rowland. Highlight ot the activities was seeing a Broad- way production in New York City. During the club meetings, when there was no play rehear- sal, the members devoted their time to reading extra plays and presentations. This part of the drama department has existed tor only two years but in that short length of time has established another excellent activity in the high school. HONOR SOCIETY Membership into the Honor Society is based on scholarship, leadership, service and cooperation. it sponsors an occasion Each year College Night, which gives all students an speak with opportunity to the representatives from colleges, armed forces, nursing and trade schools. Joy Stern is President, Robert Taylor, Vice-presi- dent, Frances Stevens, Sec- retary, and Nancy Scho- field, treasurer. Leaders Club, supervised by Rudolph Reiholec, is composed of boys from all grades who show leader- ship qualities and are active in sports. Activities include officiating in gym classes, taking care of locker rooms land promoting intramural games. Highlight of the :year was the sponsoring of a circus to raise money for the Athletic Association. 9TH GRADE DRAMATIC CLUB First row: E. Birmingham, B. Met Let's Make Up is the important production of the Ninth Grade Dramatic Club this year. Members also presented other minor plays throughout the year. As one ot the youngest groups of our drama department, this club gathered many valuable experiences to help them in later years.
