As the Class of i957 leaves Nutley High School Mr Harry Bennett has also come to the time of his retirement after thirty six years of service Mr Bennett came to Nutley in 1920 before the present high school building was In use He first taught in what IS now the building ofthe Nutley Historical Society Because he has always mamtamed a vital interest in student wel fare and because he has shown always a sympathetic insight into their problems the student body has always held Mr Bennett in high esteem He served N H S not only as a shop teacher but also as Dean and as an OmCIGl at many a football game Our wish for him inthe years ahead would be that he might know the true contentment which comes best from a life Page 6 To , .
