O-NONDA-O - CLASS HlSTORY President-Jean Stewart Secretary-Bob Hark Vice President-Gordon Mehlenbacker Treasurer-Dick Sheffield Class Colors-Blue and Gold Class Flower-Carnation ADVISORS Mr. Percy MacVean Mrs. Florence Durkce X X I E started in our Freshman class ,as proud as could be! As class officers we elected Shirley Hoagland-President. Allan Sanford-Vice-President, Jean Stewart-Secretary and Treasurer. We were kind of serious and frightened about most things then-our first year in high school. Then came the second year. Sophomores! A whole year gone and we were starting a hard but happy year. Our class officers for this year were: Jean Stewart -President, Bob Hark-Vice-President, Lois Gormel-Secretary, Evelyn Canfield -Treasurer. We spent the year planning on all the activities we would have in our junior year. Along came our Junior year with many activities soon to be engaged in. Our class officers were: Shirley Hoagland-President, Pauline Stewart--Vice-President, Lois Gormel-Secretary, Allan Sanford-Treasurer. Already we had begun seri- ously to plan for our Senior trip, and welsponsored square dances, sold? stationery and seriously planned our budget. We had our first formal dance-the junior Prom-in june, and it was a huge success. We climaxed the year by participating in graduation for the high and mighty Seniors. Our Senior year came at ,1ast, and it has been the most important of? all. We sponsored square dances, sold stationery and Christmas cards to further aid our trip to New York. We had our Senior Ball in November and everyone danced dreamily amidst replicas of turkeys and Pilgrims, to the strains of Gene Zacher and his orchestra. We presented Her Emergency Husband March 15th, and it was received with great applause. We went cn our Senior trip over Easter vacation, and it was all we had ever hoped or dreamed it might be. Now that our yearbook is ready to go to press, we cant' settle back and relax a bit and put all of our efforts toward one goal-graduation-the fitting climax for four years of fun and hard work. 1-1 SENIORS 1- 18
