One Thing was To provide places To hold coTTage meVeTings on Sunday aTTernoon in which mosT of The sTudenTs Took parT. AnoTher parT oT our program was preparing To pass ouT inviTaTions Tor The gospel services and music programs. As wiTh our Lord, we have been meT wiTh varied recepTions. May each of us be TaiThTul in our parT of exTending God's kingdom. -Fred Zimmerman A CHORUS We as ChrisTians Tind ThaT iT is easy To sing when our hearTs are in Tune wiTh God. God Tells us To rejoice in The Lord always. Singing, Then, leTs ThaT rejoicing ouT in sound. Maybe our hearTs are bubbling over in praise: iT comes ouT in chorus period. Maybe SaTan is boThering us: singing helps. Maybe we jusT need livening up: chorus may be The answer. Each session is opened wiTh prayer. Then we sing songs BroTher Aaron has picked. On 33 new songs, iT is easy To concenTraTe on noTes and noT The message. This is a problem all The Time-To keep our minds on The message. We do know, Though, ThaT The noTes TiT The mes- sage. We sing songs oT TesTimony, songs of prayer, songs of ioy and praise, and songs of mourning. May God help us noT To sing a lie during This chorus period. We do more Than make a joyful noise. The TirsT nine weeks we served l9,652 in- dividual meals. May The Lord bless The many who were willing To share of Their blessings and help make The work here a rich experience. We expecTed- a Two day vacaTion when everyone planned To go away on gospel Teams. Snow began To Tall Friday evening. The nexT morning we were snowbound wiTh I22 people To Teed. Our minds wandered To The donaTed food ThaT came in The previous week. Someone said, This is The Lord's work. He meeTs every need. ' AnoTher example oT This would be The Times we TelT we could- use cerTain Toods. Per- haps The same day someone would walk in To ask, could you use cupcakes? GIRL'S DORM The girls dorm is alive wiTh acTiviTy. Be- ginning aT 6:l5 A.M., we shake oTT The lasT biT of sleep, shower, slip on cloThes and shoes, and shine Tor brealcTasT aT 7 A.M. Dorm liTe aTTorded many prac+ical lessons in everyday living. We learned prompTness, paTience, and- Tolerance. We learned To give 5 5ympaTheTic ear when needed. We lis+ened To each oTher's concerns and problems. We expressed convicTions and discussed TruThs learned in class. We blended our voices in singing praises To our Lord.
