S sa ts, wg Y' we X ,-Q asf 'A - , Q 'Q 115 . i If 1 Once there was a famous HUNTER out in the FRENCH forests near HAGEBUSCH village in the vicinity of the famous EGERMEIER TEMPLE situated on the HUDSON river. It was a beautiful day and as he knew the king was back from the LISTON conference in the land of SNODGRASS, he decided to visit King JAMES in his castle. To do this he had to FORD the river. Two young BOYCE called ANDREW and GEORGE were with him and one of them said, ADAIR you to cross the swift river! The other one screamed, Don't do it, you'll PARRISH in the cold! But the HUNTER, named COREY was not to be discouraged. He finally managed by hook or crook to get across the river and he finally arrived at the door to the castle. The butler, THOMPSON, answered the door, HVAUGHANCTJ you come in, he said, but it is COLDREN here than outside due to the lack of fire but we can give you a night's rest in a good bed. I'm so tired I could LAY down even in an old MURPHY bed but first I'd like to see the King. That can be arranged and I'll introduce you to all the other guests and the staff of servants. First-the NATIONCSJ greatest TAYLORQSJ Q Franklyn and Irbyj, who make all the King's clothes. His very good COOK, who can FRY a delicious pheasant and fix wonder- ful MAPLE syrup. This servant does the BEYEN and this one does the ARNING. Oh ! the hunter said to a young man called DAWSON, your ARMSTRONG. That's from BRANNAN cattle, sir. Here's the BUMGARNER CAMBRON, the weeds won't even BLOOM for him. Our honored guests include: Lord ELGIN and his son Sir FLICKINGER, who's always in and out of scrapes but at this time he's a FREEMAN. Lady WOODARD who is going to marry the famous Sir PATTERSON in the Spring. ' The MERRELL brothers from SCOTLAND. The fabulous court jesters, JACKSON and JOHNSON. The English delegates from the LISTON conference, Messrs. CRUPPER and COCHRUN. This young man CLARK HENDRICKSON is destined for Knighthood and his sister MRS. THOMASON. The Princess JONES from the Swedish village Los Angeles. The famous tutors, HARRISON, MORRISON, and MILLER are visiting for a fortnight. After spending a pleasant evening, everyone retired. The next day all went on their way after their brief stay partaking of the 0,6 King's hospitality. my gfantefa ll, lid 'fd ll Will ff Zzapvf yn ui'-4'!, N Q I I D1 .1 . , 0' Sims 3' 0 an 15 Q 5 I l' V811 3.3120 . fm' N ! vj. CLASSES Classes, in spite of the popular miscon- caption, are the most vital phase of Nowata High School life. Ironmen play hard, but they also work hard. Occa- sionally students relax, but they soon return to work, realizing that time spent in studying is the price they must pay for success. Band-Agriculture-Shop PLAY Where there is work, there must be play. Nowata Ironmen have greatly enjoyed the athletics provided by Nowata High School. They have the privilege of joining the Ironman Band and the Mixed Chorus. These extra-curricular activities have brought them close to the citizens of Nowata. N owata High School BUILDINGS Buildings help make the school. They provide the surroundings which a stu- dent needs to prepare himself for the outer world.
