High School Principal Having received his B.S. in Education from the North- east Missouri State Teachers College in 1929, Mr. Huff- man taught in Douglas, wyoming, Clark and Green City, Missouri. In 1936 Mr. Huffman went to Joplin, Missouri where he taught science for seven years. in 1938, he received his Master's Degree at the University of Iowa, and taught in Iowa for several years. Mr. Huffman retired to his farm near Novinger in 1950, but was still quite active in community affairs: The Chariton Valley Aberdeen-Angus Association, Parent- Teachers Association, R.E.A. Telephone Company, and the Board of Education. In September 1956, Mr. Huffman came to R-1 School where he teaches Drivers Training as well as being princi- pal.
