Senior Class Prophecy My trip to Arkansas where I was attending the National Hog Calling Contest last week was a great pleas ure because I met so many of my old friends Immediately upon my arrival I signaled for a red cap and imagine who came to help me Duane Law son and he looked funny as ever in his bright red hat During my conversatron with him I learned that he had finally settled down and was married to Cork I waded my way to the front of the station and finally managed to hail a cab The most kind and cour teous guy helped me put my luggage in the car and to my surprise I found it was Richard Wellman my old classmate I wanted to go straight to the auditorium where the contest was betng held so those were the 1n structions I gave my old friend I was so happy that Richard still looked and drove the same I dug in my pocket for my ticket and finally came up with one half of it If I hadn t known the ticket girl I might never have gotten in You see I knew Mary Frost had been working there for some time She said she thought her chances of catchmg a man was getting worse and she was about ready to Just settle for a hog This contest lasts for about three days and I had loads of time I was about to give up hope of finding a date for supper that night when l ran into another old friend quite by accident Elame Grubrtch accepted my invitation to supper and I suppose she had just finished taking pictures of the hog calling contest We drned at the Sopper Club where the Hillbilly Highsteppers attracted our attentron 1 A second look at them gave us a show of familiar faces and legs Helen May Norma Ronchetto Anna Mae Sullivan Glenda Strdmon Elaine Jones and starring Ivy Wallace The next day I decided to walk to the Hog Calling Contest and on my way who should I chance to
