The blocking skills of offen- sive linemen Marc Brinker, Gary Nufz, Lou Resconich, Terry Smifh and Don Finch opened up holes for backs Paf Korfe and Fred Almond as well as quarferback Jeff Szuma. Szuma's fhrowing arm connecfed on passes fo ends Sfeve Wrighf and Mike Sark- issian, and flanker Todd Gillich. The defense never crumbled, giving up an average of only eleven poinfs a game.
