Promotion of the classical arts in a modern world-exhibition of the art works of accomplish- ed Nova students-encouragement of a vocation in the field of education: three Nova clubs em- phasize these purposes as they strive to tie the ancient to the modern world. The Junior Classical League traveled to the classical arts museum in Sarasoto, displayed gen- uine knowledge of the Roman civilization at State Forum, and went modern all the way in sponsor- ing the first dance of the year. Modern design prevailed in the bulletin boards displaying the works of Nova's Art Club, and dis- tinguished honors were earned by the members in national competition. Tying the old tradition of education to the mo- dern techniques of Nova, the Senior F.T.A. con- ducted many tours for educators from all over the United States and paid special tribute to Nova teachers during National Teacher Appreciation Week.

Meeting to increase their ability in radio operating and to make equipment, the club has also served as relayers of messages from such trouble spots as the Dominican Republic. Headed by President Ron Ort, the club mem- bers are required to have a general or novice opera- tor's license.
