Shulha, a graduate of Manhattan College. He brings with him a worthy record as an athlete at his Alma Mater. Before coming to Terrace he coached the Cliff- side Park High School of New Jersey to the State Inter- scholastic Athletic Association Championship. By his leadership he has immediately won the respect of all his football candidates and has raised in Terrace high hopes of grid success in the future. 741 : x wr 1313 xmjaw -H11 r-r-:bw Hill and Dale Coach William F. Eddy's cross country team finished its season last November with the outstanding record of five wins out of eight major runs in which the boys competed. The five firsts are in the Proctor High Run at Utica, the Manhattan lnterscholastic, the Everett T. Grout Memorial Run, the Sectional Championship, and the Hudson Valley Championship. The team captured second place in N. Y. U. race, the N. Y. A. C. Run, and the Nationals at South Orange, New Jersey. The Blue Devils were the first high school to finish in that race, but the run was won by Bishop Loughlin Prep of Brooklyn, a team that Coach Eddy's boys had previously defeated four times this season. Johnny Morgan was the outstanding varsity runner with individual victories in the Grout Run and Sectional Champion- ship. Little Vince Castelli capped second place in the Proctor Run in Utica, while Bill Albers and John Meader rounded out the top varsity representatives, being consistent low place winners in all the major runs, Others who aided in the varsity scores were Walt Miller and Roland Garofalo.
