Editors Lead the Way Les Vitraux, Sion’s literary magazine for aspiring writers, contains poems, short stories, and other articles. These works are contributed by students who are willing to share their talents with the rest of the school community through this annual publication. At the suggestion of Miss Angela Fasci, sponsor, the 1982 group was organized as an editorial staff rather than under a single editor. This change was designed to enable the members to work as a whole, sharing ideas and opinions. Having an editorial staff proved particularly helpful during the final editing of the magazine, for the work could be distributed among the various staff members instead of drowning one person in all the details. Illustrations were emphasized more strongly this year by Miss Fasci and the staff. The pictures and graphics, all designed and developed by students, highlighted the magazine with originality. Christine Haug, a new contributor to Les Vitraux remarked, “Seeing my writing in print was an exhilirating experience.” 40 Literary Magazine A
