Sophomore FRONT ROW: lLeft to Rightl Mary Alice Staggs, Nicki Parscale, SECOND ROW: Lucia Cardenal, Lynn Goodman, Carole Owens, Jayne Hinton, Eileen Zahner, Iudy Dvorkovitz, Phyllis Fields. Barbara Palermo, Mary Virginia O'Keefe. Class History The sophomore class was the largest class in the high school this year, numbering twenty-one in its ranks. Their class mistress was Sr. Lucienne de Sion, Maddy Zahner was the class angel forthe first semester and Marcia Clinton for the second semester. Highlights of this year were the first trip to Noel for this class, the winning of the volleyball championship, parties at the homes of various members of the class, decorating for mixers, and the annual freshman-sophomore spring dance.

The three class angels, who helped this class through their iniative year, were Mary O'Lough1in, Maddy Zahner, and Isabel Lewis. Freshman year memories include the fall trip to Noel, parties, mixers, and the freshman-sophomore dance held in the spring.
