Barbara Palermo, Mary Virginia O'Keefe. Class History The sophomore class was the largest class in the high school this year, numbering twenty-one in its ranks. Their class mistress was Sr. Lucienne de Sion, Maddy Zahner was the class angel forthe first semester and Marcia Clinton for the second semester. Highlights of this year were the first trip to Noel for this class, the winning of the volleyball championship, parties at the homes of various members of the class, decorating for mixers, and the annual freshman-sophomore spring dance.
