j' rom 1 he annual Hallowe’en Dance, which was arranged by the Seniors, was held at the Harvey House, October 27th. It turned out to be a very enjoyable evening, proved by the satisfaction on the faces of this group of Juniors. The Seniors did a marvelous job of decorating with the traditional witches, cats, and jack-o- lanterns and the refreshments were delicious. father Freeman and some of our parents formed a most pleasant group of chaperons. This was an evening which all of us will be sure to remember for a long time to come. Page 40

Loaded down with the present he received from Santa whom he has just met, this little boy looks extremely happy at the Christmas party. On the night of February 14th. our gym was the scene of a St. Valentine’s Mixer. Boys from Rockhurst, Pern-Day, Southwest, Wyandotte, Hogan and De La Salle were present. The gym was gaily decorated in colors of red and white. Father Leo Wobido, S. J. from St. Louis, was the Master of Ceremonies and general promoter of the affair, which included everything from El Raspa to the “dramatic” touch of Ophelia and Hamlet. Valentines drawn from a huge box selected Tom Flanary as King and Marjory Arnold as Queen. Page 41
