On Monday, Father F reeman comes to direct our discussions by stimulating Catholic thinking. Under Father’s guidance, we have drawn up a plan for discussion on the topic ’’How a Catholic Teenager Can Influence His Environment”. On Wednesday, we meet with either Sister Marthanna or Sister Odilia to decide upon our points of attack and to give accounts of the progress made. Among our projects this year have been: “Putting Christ back into Christmas”; “A modesty in dress campaign”; and “An A movie drive”. One of the most interesting experiences of the year was our attendance at the S. D. S. (Supply the Demand for the Supply) Conference at Maryville College in St. Louis. Page 34

“Enfants de Murie” is the name used at Sion for the Sodalists of our Lady. In order to become an Enfant de Marie, one must pass through two years of probation as an Aspirant. This usually begins in the Sophomore year and extends through the Junior year. During this time we must con- form to the high standards and requirements for admission. In this way we are better able to learn the true meaning of a Child of Mary. On November 21st. 1951, the Reverend Father Joseph Freeman, S. J. received into the Sodality the following girls: Flavia Maria Lobo, Barbara Fleming, Nancy O'Loughlin, Mary Ursula Fitz- gerald and Marceline Burnett. These girls consecrated their lives to Mary and promised never to say or do anything that would dis- please our Blessed Mother. Entrance into this Sodality is the greatest ambition of every student, for this is the highest privilege attainable at Sion. Pago 35
