K X' f i is Q , ., 4 J A - W . ii The Juniors hit the nail on the head when they chose Big Green Machine for their Homecoming float. The float was built at the Tro- quato's house. For the first few meetings they worked on flowers and stared at the bare flat-bed. After that, things started to take shape. Slowly, the frame went up. Everyone helped in their own way, whether it was hammering or passing around cookies. The Juniors really got into painting. They not only painted the float, but they painted each other. Each day you heard more people saying, Wowl This float looks awesome! Time was growing short and the meetings were getting longer. The night before Homecoming, the Juniors had an all night float meeting. Everyone was busy finishing up. It was three A.M. when they finally turned in.
