fired up frosh october 16, 1974, was a big day for colleen brinson, heather mc kay, joanie roberts, and janice waggoner. that was the day the frosh cheerleaders were chosen. there's never been more spirit in four girls before. they proved their spirit in leading their class of '78 in many pep rallies and assemblies to obtain the spirit stick. with their excitement, enthusiasm, and pride, they encouraged the ii'osh teams to many victories. 1975 frosh cheerleaders: Qtop to bottoml colleen brin son, joanie roberts, heather mc kay, and janice waggoner.

flags wave on nd titan i there is a saying three's a charm , well, in the instance of our flag- gies this certainly was the case, in this third year of the flag squad being in existence at notre dame,they have strived for perfection and have achieved it. they were one of the few flag squads invited to perform at a los angeles rams game. this was one of the most exciting events they could have hoped for. the flag firls then won a first place trophy at camp for the hardest- working flag squad, which they certainly deserved. when the riverside city competition for pep squads came around, these six girls, competing against eight other schools performed the best they know how and walked away with a third place trophy to add to their collect- ion. all in all, this year's flaggies have proved to be perhaps not one of the most popular squads, but the one least likely to be forgotten! the 1974-75 flaggirlsz ftopy kelli barnes fcaptainjg fmiddley sharon marquez, joyce wilson, debbie villarealg fbottomy kathy dente.
