GIRIS AIhl6UC ASSDCIAUOH The Girls Athletic Association is designed to give girls the opportunity to compete interscholastically in sports. The sports girls participate in are: Volleyball, tennis, basketball, softball, and swimming. To raise money for uniforms and other equipment, they sponsored the first dance of the year, set up booths at the carnival, and launched other money raising activities. Led by Florence Neglia fpres.l, Vickey Marks lv. pres.l, Rhonda Dunney factivities chairmenl, Jean Kohouotek ltreas.D and Advisors, Mrs. Judy Clark, Mrs Janet Connors, and Mrs. Cythia Taylor, the G.A.i-X. has made a significant contribution to the legacy of sport- person -ship. Why didn't you tell me the pool wasn't heated?

Notre Dame's Lettermen's Club has suddenly blossomed into a very active and worthwhile organization. Under the mature leadership of numerous individuals, they are willing and dedicated to pay the price for excellence and pride. Whether donating their services for the needy of Riverside or competing fiercely for the School of the Year award against other Riverside Lettermen clubs, Notre Dame lettermen serve notice that they are on the verge of becoming a vital influence in the years to come. ' le1:1:er2men's ClUB After a disappointing '73 season, many Titan athletes have begun off season work in order to prepare for 1974. The individuals are allowed to work at their own pace, making gains in direct proportion to the effort expanded. Weight lifting not only builds a good body but also begins to develop ones self pride and character. The goal of the weight lifters is to build stronger, faster bodies and to develop the pride and enthusiasm, needed to be a top athlete.
