ASB government played a very active role in student life at Notre Dame. Donna Mascari, President, Susan Flores, Treasurer, Larry Green, Social Chairman, and Kathy Brown, Secretary, joined forces to develop an effective team of officers responsible for many changes and improvements in administrative policy. The ASB sponsored many assemblies and activities for the entertainment of the students including both the Football and Basketball Homecoming events, dances and educational assemblies. Refusing to assume a passive role in Notre Dame affairs, the ASB became involved with the administrative council and represented student interests in every aspect. 7 ABOVE LEFT: Mr. Lyle Porter, ASB Mod- erator, expresses an interest and concern for the affairs of the student body.
