I Home Ec classes feel a sense of accomplishment With the focus on the future, Home Ec students strove for perfection in their classes. For the first time the department had male students, although few and far between. Sewing, color coordination, nutrition, and in- ternational culinary skills were just a few facets of the Home Economics field studied. Through various pro- jects, students experienced the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, yet no matter what the outcome, new things were learned and applied. I .Q . wr Q I Physical education builds healthy bodies The goal of the Notre Dame P.E. coaches was to main- tain and improve the fitness of the students. The co-eds participated in sports ranging from football and basket- ball to girl's gymnastics and volleyball. During the weeks before Christmas, there were mixed sessions of square dancing, which proved to be a fun experience as well as an educational one. An extension this year of physical education was Driver Education, which is a very important form of guidance, in learning to become a safe and responsible driver. The results of all this energetic training were healthy bodies and a lot of fun for all.
