'tm ki' Business booms in '73 One of the most practical high school courses are those in the business department, for these are helpful in other schoolwork and even in future employment. Different branches of business were offered at ND. Typ- ing I and ll, shorthand I and ll, stenoscript, accounting, secretarial work, and office practice were found on the curriculum. Experienced, helpful teachers presented the courses well, so that students were thoroughly in- formed and knew their skill. .WWW f ABOVE LEFT: Mrs. Ave pauses to help a student. Not only did Mr. Bellah teach an excellent and informative course on various techniques and forms, but in doing so he brought out a lot of hidden artistic talent from the ND student body. Art classes produced masterpieces and experimented with different mediums. ln addition, the art department greatly par- ticipated in school activities, painting spirit posters for games and silk-screening pep ribbons. Students also attended art shows and learned the appreciation of the many skills of art. fw . , we ff, ,M , .,. ,Z W, ff :wwe 4 fm ff ,f-,few-,sg i mf,,,:f , ,,, ffaggg g,2f,,g:gqgw--gs ffvl 'htVile?'iEi,?f?757Z5f3X7'liii?liHffijTf'f9,'f7Qf,l iffi'1f5'?fff': 'f ff ' ,.,, ,....... , ..,,. ,,,, .,,,..., Z , . ..,y., V Mfg if . , 1 9 : 2 if li -l, . . ,I U 2 'l',' EY?
